A Lean Manufacturing Engineer will be recruited to work at the carpet manufacturing plant operated by Milat Carpet in Gaziantep Başpınar 5th Organized Industrial Zone.
Job Description
- Observe production processes on-site and conduct process analyses
- Support the measurement of processes through activity observations and basic time studies
- Contribute to line balancing activities
- Support the implementation of 5S practices in the field
- Participate in improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency in production processes
- Take part in Kaizen activities and develop suggestions
- Support the identification of bottlenecks in production processes
- Contribute to capacity and production analyses
- Monitor basic production data and support reporting activities
- Prepare presentations and reports related to production processes when required
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an engineering department from a university (preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering)
- Recent graduate or at the beginning of their career
- Possesses analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Eager to learn and willing to work in a production environment
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel)
- Able to adapt to fieldwork conditions
- Interested in process development and continuous improvement
